Global Junior Challenge's initiatives
The Global Junior Challenge shows which are the main area of activities for the Digital Youth Consortium: education, job opportunities and lifelong learning:
- Favour innovation in schools: both in infrastructure and in pedagogical approach with the help of new technologies with programmes addressed mainly to teachers;
- To propose the matters about women, equal opportunities and new technologies;
- Favour the use of the new technologies to fight the poverty in the world and to reduce the gap between rich and poor countries, to permit their social, working and economic progress;
- Help youngsters to acquire knowledge and ICT skills to be able to access easily and with more opportunities the job market.
