The diary of final event by Brenda Dyck, winner of the GJC2004

A great challenge for a better world

The Global Junior Challenge 2004 has been a great success with 647 participating projects from 70 countries world-wide! The jury selected 85 finalist projects in 6 categories and a total of 19 Awards were given to projects by Walter Veltroni, Mayor of Rome, and by Mariella Gramaglia, Commissioner for Simplification and Equal Opportunities, at the Awards Ceremony held in the Rome City Hall on 19th November. More than 50 projects took part in the Global Junior Challenge Exhibition & Conference in Rome from 17 to 18 November. Congratulations to everyone who has participated to the Challenge this year! We are working hard to organise the next edition. Look out for news on this page
