The school of tomorrow and the computer age.

We think that the school would be better when we use the computer a lot more. The school would be not so boring. We can more work when we use the computer. We should use the computer for all the languages and not only for English. Also the homeworks would be nice with the computer. It will also be nice for mathematics, because that is very, very boring. Also when we have tests it would be nice. I think we need a lot of more computers.

The School of Tomorrow and the Computer Age

We hope that we in a few years, don’t have to go to school anymore. We hope that we can do everything on the computer so we don’t have to use books anymore. But we know that this can be realised in a couple of years. For us it will be much better and we should have more freetime. Now we allready use the computer in class and for homeworks, but it will be more pleasant and interesting to use it all the time. Now most of the lessons are boring and with the computer the lessons will be more interesting. So that’s our point of view for the School of Tomorrow and the Computer Age!

We are two girls Delfien and Daphné. We live in Belgium.  We are both 15 years old.

We think it’s cool to get lessons on the computer, the time goes by much faster.
Sofie: I think it would be great if we should get half of the lessons at home.
Stephanie: I agree, but I think that it’s cooler to learn something together with the other students...friends. I also think that when you don’t understand something, you can’t ask explanation to a computer while a teacher is always therefor you…
Sofie: That’s true, but we would have a lot more time to ourselves!
Stephanie:Yes…
Sofie: I love to sit in the class with others around me.
Stephanie: Yes!! And I don’t think that it’s good for the social contacts… It’s so lonely… I don’t think that learning on the computer instead of going to school is a good system!!

The School of Tomorrow and the Computer Age.

Hello, we’re very interested in working with computers. It’s wonderful that we can learn things, just by working on a computer. We imagine that the school of tomorrow will be without any books, but will be just a program that you can download from the Net. It would be fantastic to have all the information you need in your career at home. It’s wonderful how a small thing like a computer can mean so much for people. At the moment we’re doing some exercises for English and French, we also é-mail to pupils in an other country. It’s exciting to learn more about the culture of another country, just by writing a letter on the Net. We think that the computer will be one of the most important things in life. We hope that there will be nobody that will damage the image of the computer. Let’s hope that we can keep in touch with people all over the world, that means a lot to us!

The School of Tomorrow and the Computer Age.

On this moment the school works a lot with the computer, we think that in a couple of years everything gonna work with the computer. The Internet is now very famous by the students. At school we practise sometimes on the Internet but most of the students have Internet at home. We hope that one day the school will work more often with Internet because we are very interested in the possibilities of the Internet. Also we hope that in the future everybody can work at home with his own personal computer. It would be very easy. Now we only do exercises on the computer in English and Informatics. The teachers will be replaced by the computers. It’s cheaper for the school himself but there won’t be so many jobs anymore. Byyyyyyeeeeeee!!!!!!!!!!

The school of tomorrow and the computer age.

I see the school of tomorrow as a school where pupils don’t have to be at the school in person. I think we, pupils, will be able to follow the lessons on the internet, I am not sure whether this is good, because the pupils are going to spend too much time in front of the computer. They are going to do less sports. They aren’t going to do anything else but spending time at the computer and watching television. But in the contrary no pupil will be to late at school, but a pupil needs a good teacher who helps him. You can’t expect help from a computer who is capable to help you in a human way.

In the future I would like my kids to go to a school with many computers. I don ‘t like study at home on the computer, because there is a need for a push in the back. Without a teacher it ‘s in my case impossible to study. I can study without a computer, but sometimes study with a computer is less boring. I would say that language-subjects must be given by ace- exercises. It makes really a better atmosphere. I just want the best.

Hey, I’m Anna and a Belgian girl. I’ m 15 years old.

Our opinion about computers in the future: We think that computers are going to mean more. In a few years we are going to work all the time on the computer. It can make the lessons more interesting. There will be used less pencils and papers. It would be great if we could work all the time with the computer. It’s also very interesting for homework, on a diskette or something like that. That way it ’s easier to correct the homework. The computer is the future!!!!…………

Hello, We are two girls, Kim Huughe en Nathalie Ampe. We live in Belgium. We are both 15 years old.

The School of Tomorrow and the Computer age.

We think it’s good to use the computer at school. Working with the computer is fun, but we also learn things. We think that you can’t work a hole day on the computer but one or two lessons a day are fine otherwise people will get home with a headache. In our class we only use the computer for English and computer technology. We always work in pairs and make a lot of fun, we can discuss about the answers to the questions. We think that the computer will be used more and more at school, and we’re happy for that. We sometimes go on the internet too, that’s interesting. In our school we have three computerclasses and they aren’t free very much.

Hello !!! We are two friends from Belgium. Ellen Dedeyne and Sofie Schoonackers. We are 15 years old.

The School of Tomorrow and the Computer Age

We like to use the computer at school, because we learn more when we can work on the computer. At school we only work with the computer when we have English and sometimes also for French and of course for typing. We have got a lot of computers at our school and we like that, because in the break we are allowed to surf on the internet. We want to work more with the computer in the future. In other lessons, like maths, German, … When we work on the computers we nearly always work in pairs and we always make a lot of fun. When we don’t understand something, we can ask it to our friends.
